There is an explosion in the use of Enterprise Architecture for Business Integration. Business-driven methods identify high reusability business processes within Government, Defense and Commercial Organizations. These processes use common shared data as an integrated resource. Data is updated once and becomes immediately available to all shared systems. This leads to improved cost effectiveness of business processes ... with dramatic cost savings.

This course is based on the use of XML, Web Services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies. Products are available today that move directly from Workflow Models or Process Models through to automatically-generated executable code. This is based on the generation from these diagrams of executable XML-based Business Process Management (BPM) languages such as Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), Business Process Modeling Language (BPML) and Business Process Specification Schema (BPSS) for ebXML. Products are also available that can move directly from Data Base Design into automatically-generated code in various languages.

These methods and technologies enable Enterprise Architecture results to be delivered rapidly in 3-month increments using SOA technologies.
