SOA (Service oriented architecture) has been initiated by some of the worlds leading IT actors. • Define and describe the necessary information in the business

• Relate processes, information and current systems to each other and set up the ideal scenario for the future information supply

• Decide what the business should really concentrate on

Object groups

• Get a closer view of the structure of information on a high level

Identify services and service interfaces

• When we have a good understanding of the business we can start to identify the needed services and set up a SOA map

Meta model for SOA

• Check that we all agree on and understand the concepts we are using in SOA and EA

IT as an enabler

• Brief survey of the most frequently used IT tools for implementing SOA

Orchestration of processes

• How SOA will give us flexible processes so we can quickly meet different demands

Conclusion and Summary

• Workshops will be featured throughout the course, giving delegates plenty of hands on experience.

	Lars Mårtensson works as a consultant for requirement specifications thru solutions to implementation of SOA-projects in many different businesses, both in private companies and the public sector. Lars develops methods and acts as an instructor for IRM Sweden.
