IIBA® UK Chapter Developing the
Business Analysis Profession

In the last few years, organisations have begun to recognise the contribution that an effective business analysis function can make to their operations. The global business environment is in a constant state of fast-moving change and organisations need to respond to the opportunities and problems this creates. Business Analysts possess the skills to analyse the environmental issues and develop effective responses. As a result, business analysis is now the central discipline for defining creative and agile options for business change and ensuring that solutions meet business needs.

The Business Analysis Conference Europe 2010 brings together business analysis specialists from across Europe and beyond, providing a platform for promoting the BA profession and opportunities for BAs personal development. The Conference will happen at a crucial time in the economic cycle. With a global economy that is slowly and hesitantly emerging from recession, and budget cuts affecting all sectors, organisations are assessing how to respond to the financial difficulties and continue to deliver excellence for their customers. The Business Analysis Conference 2010 will provide an interactive forum where business analysts can meet, discuss and debate the competencies needed to rise to the challenges faced by their organisations today and in the future. The main themes reflect these challenges and are:

  • Shaping the Future of Business Analysis
  • Business Analysis Tools and Techniques
  • Business Agility and Business Analysis
