Dirk de Wit started his career
as research fellow at the Erasmus University. After his PhD
he proceeded to work for a research organisation, Telematica
Institute, in 1995. From 1995 onwards he was involved in a BPR
research project in which he developed in co-operation with

innovation. He started a career in consultancy (Oi) in 2000
with knowledge management and process management as key topics.

Ronald Ross serves as Executive
Editor of BRCommunity and its flagship publication, Business
Rules Journal. He is a sought-after speaker at conferences

and in Europe though IRM UK. Mr. Ross is recognized internationally
as the “father of business rules.” He has served
as Co-Chair of the annual Business Rules Forum Conference
since 1997. He was a charter member of the Business Rules
Group (BRG) in the 1980s, and an editor of the two landmark
BRG papers, “The Business
Motivation Model: Business Governance in a Volatile World”
and the “Business Rules Manifesto”.
He is active in OMG standards development, with core involvement
in SBVR. Mr. Ross is Principal and Co-Founder of Business
Rule Solutions, LLC. At BRS, Mr. Ross co-develops Proteus®,
its landmark business analysis and rules methodology, including

Lombardi for over four years and most recently was Director

Jan Schilt started his professional
career in 1986 as a Service Centre employee. After a few years
working in several ICT jobs he became ICT Manager at Knorr
(Currently Unilever). In 1998 he became Management Trainer
for ISES International and became responsible for ITSM training
programs.
In 2001 he started his company called Learning Works. He
became expert in Learning Based Consultancy and wrote his
first book about ‘Process Improvement in IT Service
Management’. With this book he won the itSMF innovation
Award 2001. In the next year he became ‘The Best Master’
