Ms. Abbott’s initial roles were within the Land Inventory Management area, before progressing into tri-service Logistics and Defence Procurement. She was responsible for the delivery of the initial use of Enterprise Application Integration into the Logistics area, and is now the Log NEC lead for Data and Integration Services, which includes the management of Data and Integration Competency Centres to support the ongoing programme of work and the planned transformation of Defence Logistics. Peter Aiken is an award-winning,

management, architecture, and engineering. As a practicing data manager,

Nicola Askham is an independent data management
consultant, whose primary area of expertise is data governance. Nicola has
experience in designing and implementing full data governance organisations in
both regulatory and non-regulatory environments. She has worked in Data
Management for nine years, initially for a leading UK Bank, before becoming a
consultant at the beginning of 2009. Most recently Nicola has spent most of

Jon Asprey leads the advisory consulting practice at Trillium Software where he is responsible for delivering best practice advice and guidance to Trillium’s many international clients. He has over 15 years’ experience in information management, data quality management and data analysis, gained through working for both global consultancies and software vendors across a variety of client industries. Jon began his career advising on customer data integration, single customer view and customer segmentation programmes. Through this work he has amassed a depth of experience in leveraging enterprise data as a corporate asset. More recently, Jon has focused on assisting client organisations to plan their data governance and data quality strategies. Christoph
Balduck works for Volvo IT supporting all business units and business areas of
the Volvo Group with both IS/IT solutions as well as business support.
Overtime Mr. Balduck has worked in several roles ranging from solution
architect, program and project manager, business analyst, line manager and
management consultant. He has been active in IT for over 10 years and has

Christopher Bradley has spent 32 years in the Information
management field, working for leading organisations in Data Management
Strategy, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Warehouse and
Business Intelligence. Graduating in 1979 Chris worked for the MoD(Navy),
Volvo, Thorn EMI (as Head of Information Management), Readers Digest Inc (as UK
CIO), and Coopers and Lybrand Management Consultancy where he established and
ran the International Data Management practice. Chris heads IPL’s Business
Consultancy practice and is advising several Energy, Pharmaceutical and
Government clients on Business Process and Information Asset Management. Chris

Corinne Brazier joined West Midlands Police in 2005
and 4 years ago became the first West Midlands Police Force Records Manager. Responsible
for the retention of all types of force records and ensuring that the force
complied with the requirements of the Management of Police Information
Guidance, Corinne also took on management of data quality and audit. She set up
the Information Assurance Team to conduct audit of core systems and carry out
essential data quality work as part of a programme of work improving the
understanding of the importance of data quality and information management
across the organisation. Corinne has been heavily involved in developing and
implementing a 'Golden Nominal' system using DataFlux which enables a single
view of nominal records from 15 police systems. This system has proved very
successful in highlighting the risks of bad data and increasing the chance of

Micheline Casey is Principal at CDO, LLC, a boutique consultancy supporting the development of large scale enterprise information management, data governance, and data security strategic plans and implementation efforts. Elizabeth Davis is a founding member of the
Information Quality Group at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the
focal point for enterprise-wide data governance at IFC, and has led the unit
since 2004. She is a member of IAIDQ and a speaker on data governance best

Mary Drabble has more than 10 years experience in MDM and data
governance and has worked with a number of Cognizant clients, predominantly in
Life Sciences. Ms. Drabble joined Cognizant’s MDM practice after many years in
the oil industry managing IT projects, specialising in SAP MDM and was involved
in the design and implementation of the enterprise-wide SAP MDM program at BP,
managing a team of data stewards operating the Supplier registration service.

Jacob
du Toit has more than 12 years experience in the IT industry and is employed by
BBC Worldwide, which is the commercial arm of the BBC. Mr. du Toit has worked
in industries such as mining, defence, retail, and media. He has introduced
and implemented enterprise data models, data governance and strategies around
business intelligence. His passion and experience is in and around data
management and more particular the distinction and dissimilarity between how

Rolf Emmens joined KPN Corporate Market in

Mike Ferguson is Managing Director of

Initially
in the process, management and creation of MDM, Maxine Fletcher now focuses on
Master Data Governance throughout the UCB organization. Mrs. Fletcher
provides direction and advice as regards master and meta-data set- up for
different projects across supply chain, sales, marketing and manufacturing.
Previously, she was responsible for the functional design of a Global Product
Data Management System including the interface requirements used to feed
different global systems at UCB. One of these systems is the SAP single
instance which has been rolled out in 13 countries to date, with North America scheduled for go live beginning 2012. On top of her responsibilities, Mrs.
Fletcher held the role of Global Key User for the SAP4UCB project for master
data from 2007 until Q1 2010. Prior to joining UCB, she worked at Baxter
Healthcare for 16 years on various system integration projects, focusing on
master data cleansing, harmonisation, migration before go live coupled with
data integrity and compliance controls post implementation. Mrs. Fletcher is a

Steven Gort Joined the Dutch Tax Office in 2007 and currently holds the role of Teammanager Data Design and is responsible for Data Architecture and Business Process Engineering. Prior to the Dutch Tax Office, he worked as Oracle Database Administration Consultant and was responsible for the IT Operations Management at the Internet Service Provider Tiscali in the Netherlands. James Hathway has over 25 years’
experience in a variety of IT roles, in both manufacturing and finance. He now
works for Standard Life where for the last 3 years he has been responsible for
establishing data governance initiatives including data classification and
metadata management. He is currently supporting the company’s Solvency 2

establishing an Enterprise Data Management function that will coordinate and

Robert Hawker is the Global Data Lead within Vodafone’s transformation programme, EVO, responsible for data governance and quality across Finance, Supply Chain and HR. Prior to this role, he was responsible for the implementation of the SAP MDM tool across 20 markets. His background is in finance, having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 before joining Vodafone’s Group Finance department. Session: |

Andrew
Hazelwood has over eight years’ experience of data quality, customer data
integration (CDI) and MDM. Mr. Hazelwood was involved in the 2008 project to
implement DataFlux’s dfPower Studio and qMDM hub in to CPP’s infrastructure.
Currently responsible for CPP’s Europe-wide DataFlux platform and enterprise
data warehouse, he ensures data cleansing services are available to UK, Spanish and Italian data management teams, with an additional implementation in to
CPP’s Mexican office imminent. Providing a single customer view and master
data generated from CPP’s UK customer base, Mr. Hazelwood is focused on
delivering further integration between the qMDM hub and data warehouse, to
facilitate streamlined reporting solutions centred around the customer. In
addition he promotes the benefits of data governance practices to IT and

Tony Hodgson has over 38 years of experience in
Information Governance, Information Management, Business Intelligence and
Information Technology. He is a leading specialist in information management
and governance including methodologies, information asset identification and
definition, ownership and stewardship, governance definition and organisational
restructuring. He has successfully led a number of Information Governance
projects, delivering real business value and culture change. His most recent
assignment has been with a major UK mobile and service provider where he
defined and implemented an Information Management Competency Centre as well as
an Information Governance Council. He has defined and implemented information
governance policies, procedures, standards and methods as well as defining
strategies for MDM, Data Quality, Information Exploitation and Information

Alexander Isacson works as Master Data Program Manager at PostNord. Mr. Isacson has spent the last two years building the Master Data Competence Centre which covers all aspects of an MDM practice -- ranging from defining the business case for MDM to describe the governance, organization, processes and information architecture to the technology. Prior to his current position, he was an MDM consultant for three years mainly working with and around SAP Netweaver MDM. Judy Losty has worked at GlaxoSmithKline Research and Development for 9 years. She initially worked as the programme manager to build a repository for clinical study data and then moved onto setting up the clinical data stewardship program. For the last year she has been looking at applying this experience to formalise data stewardship across the preclinical area. Prior to working at GlaxoSmithKline Judy spent over 12 years working on data related projects in other industry sectors. This included project management and business analysis for Customer Relationship Management systems for a financial services company and a software house, and 6 years as senior IT team leader for a direct marketing agency. Ian Lottering is Practice Manager for the
Applications and Data department at Consololgy with 16 years of experience in
the South African technology market as well as two years of experience working
in the UK. Mr. Lottering joined Consology in 2005 and has since had a hands-on

Anwar Mirza's background in management
accounting, credit management and systems development has allowed him to
observe data integrity from various perspectives. He has held various
management positions within TNT Express' global head office based in the Netherlands. His responsibilities have included International Audit, Corporate Financial
Systems (Accounting consolidation), Divisional Administration Director (Credit
Management) and Back-Office Project Director (in SAP covering Accounting, HR

Pushpak “Push” Sarkar is currently Director of Enterprise Information
Management at United Healthcare Insurance. Over the last couple of years , Mr.
Sarkar has been instrumental in setting up the enterprise MDM strategy at the
corporate/enterprise level (United Healthcare Group – UHG). He has also
recently led architecture/design efforts on a Customer/Client MDM hub
implementation for their business segment, guiding the delivery team on
planning, design and execution phases successfully. In this project, Mr. Sarkar led the EIM team for UHG’s MDM implementation efforts on the IBM InfoSphere MDM Server product suite. He also supports MDM

Andrew Schulze is the Global Data Architect
for Shell International, where he is currently involved in a number of
enterprise wide projects, including the development and implementation of an MI
strategy in the businesses, an MDM service, a data quality strategy and a meta

Sunil
Soares is the Director of Information Governance within IBM Software Group.
Sunil has worked with more than a hundred clients across multiple industries
including banking, insurance, life sciences, retail, telecommunications,
manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare and government. Sunil helps clients
assess their Information Governance Maturity and determine the appropriate
processes and tools to move forward. Sunil published his first book called The

Michelle Teufel currently works as Head of Global
Planning for Premier Farnell, Plc; a multi-national distributor of electronic
components. As Head of Global Planning Michelle reports directly to the COO

replacements across the organization. She is also responsible for the ongoing

Nigel Turner is Vice President of
Information Management Strategy at Trillium Software where he is helping
current and potential Trillium Software clients expand and accelerate their
enterprise data quality initiatives. Before this he worked as an independent
consultant and writer on data management, providing consultancy & services
to the Institute of Direct Marketing and Trillium Software & its
customers. He spent much of his career at British Telecommunications plc (BT)
