Gary Doucet is the Executive Director of Architecture for Chief Information Officer Branch of Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada. He is responsible for the continued development of Canada’s Federated Architecture Program (FAP). The purpose of the GOC FAP is to provide leadership, co-ordination, and broad direction in the planning, development, maintenance and use of a government-wide architecture for IM/IT infrastructure. comprised of the subset of the departmental infrastructure domains that are common or shared across government. Allan Edwards has worked for the Inland Revenue since 1979 with a two year break during the early 1990s when he joined the TSB, he currently works in the newly formed Business Design Office. His career with the Inland Revenue started in a local tax office before he moved into IT as a programmer developing large national systems. He had experience of live systems support before taking up a role as a systems designer. John Hayden is the Group Enterprise Architect for the Absa Group, reporting to the Group Executive: Business & Technology Services (our “CIO”), at the Head Office in Johannesburg.
